Huge thank you to Abbie, her incredible vast and detailed knowledge helped us through such a magical yet vulnerable time. She is such a caring soul and nothing and no questions were too much trouble. She reassured all my anxieties as a first time mum and I just feel like we couldn’t have got through it without her. We are still using her tips and tricks to this day and are helping friends with newborns with the same information. We are forever grateful for all help and support she gave us. We cannot recommend Abbie enough!

I cannot recommend Abbie highly enough. She was my midwife for two pregnancies, and in both experiences she went far beyond what I ever expected in terms of care, knowledge, and support. Abbie is incredibly skilled, calm, and reassuring—exactly the kind of person you want by your side during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
She is a highly knowledgeable lactation specialist. Her guidance around feeding was practical, evidence-based, and delivered with so much patience and compassion. She made me feel confident, supported, and never judged, no matter the question or challenge.
Abbie truly is the best midwife you could ask for. She listens deeply, advocates fiercely, and provides care that is both professional and deeply woman centered. You will get the highest, competent care and support with Abbie, and will be in exceptionally good hands

With my first pregnancy I knew from very early on I wanted breastfeed, Abbie looked after me throughout my pregnancy and supported me with any important information and advice supporting me. From around 36 weeks Abbie supported me with tips and advice on collecting colostrum ready for babies arrival. Once my son was born I began my breast feeding journey which was extremely challenging for the first few weeks, first couple days he lost quite a lot of birth weight and I needed support with feeding techniques, Abbie was absolutely brilliant. I hadn’t got the correct latch which explained soreness and babies weight loss. Abbie sat with me on multiple occasions supporting with lactation and guiding me through those difficult few days/weeks. I can’t thank Abbie enough for allowing me to grow in confidence with my feeding journey and making me feel comfortable and supported at such a vulnerable time for a new Mummy. Abbie is kind, understanding and compassionate, now being pregnant with my second baby I wouldn’t hesitate for a minute to get in contact for support 100% recommend xxx

When I felt completely defeated and everyone else couldn’t help me, Abbie stayed. She was patient, calm, and unwavering when I needed it most. Were others rushed or offered generic advice, Abbie took the time to truly watch, listen, and guide me step by step.
She taught me how to breastfeed in a way that finally felt natural. For the first time, the latch was comfortable and intuitive—not painful or forced. Thanks to her expertise and gentle teaching, I never experienced cracked nipples or mastitis. She showed me how proper latch and a consistent, supportive routine in those early days could make all the difference, and she was absolutely right.
Now, nearly two years into my breastfeeding journey, I look back with so much gratitude. What once felt impossible became something deeply rewarding, and that is entirely because of Abbie. Her knowledge, patience, and genuine care changed my experience as a mother, and I will always credit my successful breastfeeding journey to her support.
I cannot recommend Abbie highly enough—she didn’t just help me breastfeed, she gave me confidence when I had none.
Thank you Abbie!

Abbie was absolutely incredible and I feel so lucky to have had her as my midwife when my son was born in October 2023. As a first-time mum I was extremely anxious, especially as I ended up being induced, but Abbie supported me every step of the way and made me feel safe and cared for throughout the whole experience.
She could tell how anxious I was during labour and stayed right by my side, holding my hand and gently talking me through what was happening when I didn’t understand what my body was doing. Her calm, reassuring presence meant more to me than I can ever put into words.
Abbie helped my son latch for his very first feed, and even after her shift had ended she went out of her way to come and check on us the next morning when she knew I was struggling with breastfeeding. That visit honestly meant the world to me and was a huge reason I found the confidence to continue breastfeeding during such an overwhelming time.
Abbie is kind, thoughtful, and truly puts her whole heart into caring for families. I will always be so grateful to her and can’t recommend her highly enough.

Breastfeeding is a tiresome and rewarding task that I am privileged to dedicate many hours, days and ultimately months to. I say privilege because as a first time mother I have come to know the challenges of post partum; recovering from labour and birth, sleepless nights, hormonal changes and coming to know and love a new baby and, a new me. This time in a mother’s life is very overwhelming as it is however, the midwives telling you your baby is losing weight whilst on the journey to hitting birth weight and then recommending formula top ups really takes its toll due to the sudden doubt of whether your body which has already done so much to create your baby, is up to the next task of feeding and sustaining your baby. Thankfully, I had the privilege of knowing Abbie. Abbie had took her time to do a home visit 60 minutes before her shift at Cocoon; in that time Abbie watched a feed, advised on technique with latching and gave numerous tips regarding lifestyle and scheduling to improve my breastfeeding journey. Thanks to Abbie taking 60 minutes to understand my current state, educate and advise, I am currently 3 months into exclusively breastfeeding a now 75th percentile, happy and healthy baby! I can’t recommend Abbie enough for her empathetic and informative support style, truly a breastfeeding angel!
