The Future Families Initiative

The Future Families Initiative, owned and operated by The Harrogate Lactation Consultant, provides evidence‑based training, education, and parent support across pregnancy, birth, infant feeding, newborn development, and early‑years health. Led by Registered Midwife and IBCLC Abbie Durrant‑Milnes, the service delivers high‑quality sessions for schools, nurseries, universities, health professionals, and new parents. Offering in‑person and virtual training, The Future Families Initiative promotes informed choice, confidence, and understanding for families and professionals across Harrogate and surrounding areas.
